On January 4th, 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to attend and be acknowledged as a Woman driving change towards sustainability and energy efficiency in the HVAC &R industry and working towards the Net Zero Goals for INDIA by the year 2070. The ISHRAE SHAKTI event was a dynamic platform that brought together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) industry. The event, known for its emphasis on empowerment and innovation, truly lived up to its reputation, leaving me along with all attendees inspired and energized.

Personal Takeaways
One of the most impactful aspects of the event for me was meeting a true woman of substance, Ms. Nirmal Neer Bhanu who put across so beautifully that the most important resource is Oneself and protecting oneself is paramount importance. Ms. Mamta Rawat emphasized on the environment sustainability and Earth being the only planet habitable we need to use our resources with caution. Ms Nasreen Rustomfram spoke on mental health and well being which is paramount for ace performance. These are a few among the many other luminaries who sparked new ideas that I am eager to explore further. The energy and passion of the participants were palpable, creating an environment that was both engaging and inspiring.
